● August 2010 An article titled "Probing for Performance" was published in the August edition of World Coal. It descibes in detail two
Ash Probe applications where significant benefits were obtained by its users. It is based upon the paper presented at the ICPC Lexington Kentucky in April (see April/May below).

● July 2010 We obtained our first Ash Probe sale to a South Korean coal mine through our new agent,
Ewkor Trading Co Ltd.
● June 2010 We set up a new
Distributor in South Korea.

● April/May 2010 Paul Taylor Presented a paper to the XVI International Coal Preparation Congress (ICPC) in Lexington Kentucky. The title of the paper was "Natural Gamma Comes of Age for the Quick Measurement of the Ash Content of Coal in Piles, Wagons and Trucks - Some Case Histories."

● March 2010 Martin Brett & Alan Cooke completed the development of a new configuration of the
Ash Eye. This instrument now comes in two versions. The Basic
Ash Eye with local display which provides an Ash signal to the Customer's own Computer Control System or a Full version which includes a fully interactive PC based Display Unit. This unit, in addition to displaying the current ash information, provides archiving and retrieval so that shift reports and long-term trend data can be displayed.

● December 2009 / January 2010 Alan Cooke successfully commissioned the first Ash Eye in South Africa. He also presented our products to a meeting of the South African Coal Preparation Society.

● December 2009 We set up our new
Distributor in China. Ostaso International Pty., Ltd.

● September 2009 Paul Taylor Helped Andrey Bratishchev of Siberia Analytical Services with their stand at the International Mining Exhibition in Kemerovo. We met many customers and potential customers.
● June 2009 On the recommendation of Vang Danh mine, nearby Nam Ma mine in Vietnam ordered an Ash Probe. It was successfully commissioned in August and is the subject of one of the case studies in the paper presented to the ICPC in Lexington.
